Necken (2021) is a simplistic roguelike hybrid developed in Unity. The game was developed by myself, and really showcases the ups and downs with working alone under a long time. Despite the relatively low amount of sales, I’m very happy with the development of Necken, as it’s opened a lot of doors and given me success in other areas of game development.
The game got a lot of let’s plays on Youtube during prototyping, early access and after full release, but the Splattercatgaming video was definitely a personal milestone.
Necken won the Arctic Game Pitch 2018.
